How are you?

I hope all is well to whoever is reading this..

Things are going great as always. Work is demanding, a bit tedious, and always unrelenting.

I’m feeling pretty good though.

I feel like I’m growing. Expanding. I’m very critical of myself, but I do my best to look over the past and realize how much I really am progressing.

Nothing happens overnight and no matter how bad I want things they will happen when they are meant to.

I remain positive and ever faithful.

A few things I realize:

-I have to be myself. No matter what, I must stay true to myself and do what I believe. That way my mistakes are mine and I really grow and learn as much from each experience.

• I also have to truly do the things that motivate and inspire me. Alot of times I sacrifice my time and effort to work for other people, other projects, and for money. As much as a necessity as this is.. It also may hurt you. I’m 22 now and although I’ve built Cordova Productions to be the monster that it is, I’ve not yet accomplished and put out the works that really make Chris Cordova the Filmmaker that he is. The real artist.

Partly for personal reasons but also really because I didn’t understand that although you do need a plan and money and experience and exposure the truth is sometimes you have to just let everything go and go after that ONE thing that moves you. That thing that motivates you.

There are no rules. None. What so ever. Now is your time to do what you want. With no regrets and no fears. Luckily the world will see EVERYTHING that takes place. So go now my creative children. Be free.

And lastly I shall leave you with toys very true and real personal insight. Do ONE THING AT A TIME. I struggle really bad with this. I try doing a million things at once. Truthfully because I enjoy it and receive some quite intensive mental simulation. But the real strength of man is the ability to take STEPS. Move Forward. By focusing on one thing at a time you really are allowed to progress and get much more strongly accomplished. Amen.

Ahh Tumblr. 

What news do I have for you.

Too much for a post really.

But here’s the short version.

Finishing writing my first short film produced simply for you, an audience, the internet, aka. FREE (anyone and everyone will enjoy this one) Its called LetsGetHigh and its about a kids first experience getting high. As in real life, this should be amazing.

#2 Career is moving along greatly. One BIG music video this week. and an EVEN BIGGER one right around the corner. Even though I consider all my projects “big”. Im just talking budget ($$$) wise. Which also always relates to me being able to kill it better . 

#3 Love life is great. Im talking/seeing this great Gal. She’s almost perfect, and thats a little intimidating.. I dont wanna fuck it up. 

#4 Team CORDOVA PRODUCTIONS is going strong. our website will be up soon, we are growing team wise and project wise. Soon it will all be out and we will have established ourselves at the level we hold ourselves too.

Everything is great. Things are never easy. Life is hard. But like Wiz said. “Whats it all worth if its painless?”

P.s. I was bummed I didnt go to EDC. just more motivation to make more and more money now. to get even MORE serious and to go after that #PAPER. HANDS DOWN.
